School of Feminism

The campaign emphasized the importance of introducing feminism at an early age, recognizing the critical need to impart an understanding of feminist principles to school-age students. By doing so, it aimed to ensure that young individuals develop a comprehensive awareness of these concepts during their formative years. In 2022, Hami DajuVai, in collaboration with RWSC, the TU Department of Gender Studies, YouthHUB, and with the financial support of Plan International Nepal, organized several "School of Feminism" training programs across various districts of Nepal. These programs brought together adolescent girls to explore key topics such as gender, equality, patriarchy, and intersectionality. A key takeaway from these sessions was the crucial need to engage boys in the feminist movement.
