Men's March

The Men’s March Against Violence Toward Women and Girls was first initiated by Mr. Sanjog Thakuri in 2015 through Yuwalaya. Since its inception, HDV has been actively involved in the event, particularly after the organization’s establishment in 2019. Every year, Yuwalaya organizes this march on International Women’s Day, March 8th, where both young and adult men participate to promote gender equality and combat violence against women and girls.

The campaign's main objective is to raise awareness about the pervasive issue of violence against women and girls and highlight the critical role that men and boys play in eliminating such violence. Many like-minded organizations, child clubs, youth clubs, and networks come together to participate in the march. Afterward, activities such as poetry recitals, song performances, and other engaging events are held to further support and promote the cause.
