MascuLENS

MascuLENS is a flagship program of the Masculinity Resource Center (MRC), launched in 2024, that critically analyzes media through the lenses of masculinity, gender, and men’s engagement. The initiative hosts screenings and discussions of diverse media content—such as films, literature, art, and music—to promote gender justice.

To date, MascuLENS has held three movie screenings—two at the HDV Masculinity Resource Center and one at St. Xavier College. The program targets a broad audience, including students, community members, gender advocates, development workers, and professionals, with a special focus on engaging students in schools and colleges. Through these discussions, MascuLENS aims to raise awareness of gender equality and social justice and encourage young people to become change agents in their communities.
