Masculinity Film Festival

In collaboration with Men Against Violence & Abuse (MAVA), an Indian organization dedicated to addressing violence and abuse, Hami DajuVai organized Nepal’s first-ever gender-focused film festival. While the festival had previously been held exclusively in India, it was also showcased in Nepal and Bangladesh. The International Film Festival was conducted in partnership with Hami DajuVai, Sangat Nepal, Tewa, and St. Xavier’s College. As part of the fourth Samabhav Film Journey, the festival took place in Nepal on June 2 and 3, 2022. Over 600 attendees participated in the two-day event, which featured screenings focused on gender issues.
